Privacy policy
LovioMedia (“Lovio”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains how personal data may be processed through Lovio’s global website (the “Site”): what we process, why, our legal bases, retention, and your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and other applicable laws in the regions where we operate.
1. Data controller
Controller: LovioMedia. For privacy questions and rights requests: contacto@loviomedia.com.
Lovio’s country websites may have separate controllers or notices. When you visit or purchase on those domains, their legal terms and privacy information apply.
2. Scope
This policy covers processing related to informational use of the Site (including language selection and links to local sites). It does not replace the privacy policies of products or services you contract on country sites.
3. Data we may process
3.1. Technical and usage data (server logs and security)
When you visit the Site, hosting infrastructure may create logs that can include approximate IP address, date and time, browser type, operating system, referrer URL, and request outcome. We use this data to secure the service, prevent abuse, troubleshoot, and maintain availability.
3.2. Email communications
If you email an address published on the Site (for example, press or partnerships), we will process the information you voluntarily include (such as name, email, company, and message content) to respond to your request and, where relevant, manage the professional relationship.
3.3. Cookies and similar technologies
The Site may use cookies or local storage that are strictly necessary for technical operation (for example, language preference or load balancing). If we add analytics or advertising cookies in the future, we will update this policy and, where legally required, obtain your prior consent and provide controls.
4. Purposes and legal bases (GDPR)
- Operating and improving the Site, security, and fraud prevention: legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), balanced against your rights, or pre-contractual steps at your request where applicable.
- Handling inbound emails: legitimate interests in managing business communications and, where a contract follows, performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Legal compliance (for example, responding to lawful authority requests): legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
- Non-essential cookies (if enabled): consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), withdrawable at any time without retroactive effect.
5. Retention
Technical logs are kept as long as needed for the purposes above and according to hosting rotation, unless longer retention is required by law or for defending claims. Inbound emails are kept as long as needed to handle the request and for a reasonable follow-up period, unless a different retention duty applies.
6. Recipients and processors
We may share data with service providers acting as processors (for example, hosting, CDN, email, and security tools), under agreements or standard contractual clauses that meet GDPR requirements where applicable. We do not sell your personal data.
7. International transfers
Some providers may be located outside the European Economic Area. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards under GDPR, such as EU Commission-approved standard contractual clauses or other legally recognized mechanisms.
8. Children
The Site is not directed at collecting data from children under 16 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us so we can take appropriate steps.
9. Your rights
Where GDPR applies, you may have the following rights, subject to legal conditions:
- Access to your personal data.
- Rectification of inaccurate data.
- Erasure (“right to be forgotten”) where applicable.
- Restriction of processing.
- Data portability where processing is based on consent or contract and technically feasible.
- Objection to processing based on legitimate interests, including profiling where it exists.
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
To exercise your rights, email contacto@loviomedia.com with your request and a reasonable means to verify your identity. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
10. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures proportionate to the risk, including secure configuration, access controls, and periodic reviews. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
11. Profiling and solely automated decisions
We do not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects based solely on automated processing, including profiling, in connection with the Site described here.
12. Changes
We may update this policy to reflect legal or operational changes. The current version will be published on this page with an updated date. Please review it periodically.
